Off Grid Inverters.

An Off-Grid Inverter is essentially a combination of an Inverter and a Charge Controller. The Off-Grid Inverters can be used with Solar (PV – Photo Voltaic) Panels and Lithium Battery Packs as a system that will provide Back-up to all the clients’ essential loads. The off-grid inverter will be designed and scaled to the clients’ requirements, it will feed essential loads only, the requirement of the client will determine the scope of the essential loads.

Off-Grid System:

- PV panels will supply power to Inverter to feed essential loads.

- PV panels will supply power to the Inverter to Charge the Batteries.

The setting up of the Off-grid inverters is a lot more complex than the Hybrid Inverters, it is there for extremely important that the System is designed, installed, and maintained by qualified technicians. All Inverters systems must be designed for a specific application, it is extremely important to operate an inverter system within the design specification window. The main reasons for an inverter system to fail are over current conditions, over temperature conditions and low DC voltage.

These factors will be mitigated by designing a system that will operate within the product specification parameters, ensure that the product is well ventilated, and that the battery back-up will be sufficient for the load and expected power failures.

We supply 6 Types of Kodak Grid-tie Inverter, the 1.5KW (OG1.24) and 3KW (OG3.24) Singles phase inverters that are 24Vdc devices as well as the 5KW (OG5.48 and OG5.48 plus), 7.2KW (OG7.2) and the 10KW (OG10) that are 48Vdc, Single phase inverters. The single-phase inverters can be connected and configured to support a 3-phase system. There are a lot more models available that we can utilize for specific applications.
